Breakfast with Santa

The members of the Laytonsville District Volunteer Fire Department invite you and your familes to their annual Breakfast with Santa on December 8th from 8 AM - Noon.

Enjoy a nice All-U-Can Eat breakfast which includes: pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, chipped beef gravy, baked apples, biscuits, orange juice & coffee.

Santa will also be there to meet all the children throughout the breakfast.

The members of the Laytonsville District Volunteer Fire Department had a meeting last night with Santa and he advised the members that he will be attending the Laytonsville Town Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 6, 2024 at 5:30 PM and will be tentatively riding through the following neighborhoods on the following dates:

Members and Career Staff from LDVFD participate in MSPAC Training

Sunday, Nov 10, 2024 - MSPAC Trooper Chris Aycock and HT3 from the Frederick Hangar provided a training class for LDVFD and career personnel. After a classroom session including the history and capabilities of the MSPAC, personnel travelled to Davis Airport where HT3 had landed for us to get an up close look, and chat with the crew. On August 28, 2024, during the LDVFD Membership Meeting, President Greg Albrecht along with Michael Putnam with Life Line Emergency Vehicles, signed the contract for LDVFD's new ambulance and also gave them first deposit to start the project. The last time LDVFD purchased their own ambulance was back in the 1980's.

Laytonsville District Vol. Fire Department 70th Anniversary/Awards Banquet

On August 10, 2024, the LDVFD held their 70th Anniversary/Awards Banquet at the Urbana VFD Hall. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, especially Ms. Pat Baker. We were honored to have MCFRS Fire Chief Corey Smedley and Council Member Dawn Luedtke attend our banquet.
